Connecticut chocolatier Knipschildt creates the most expensive chocolate in the world. $250 for 1.9 ounces, La Madeline is a rare French Perigord (mushroom) truffle enclosed in a ganache made from Valrhona dark chocolate, truffle oil, vanilla, and heavy cream. They are then bathed in more dark chocolate and cocoa.
